Although it would have been much more fun being in Athens, I was so thrilled to find a Ning to connect teachers that I've spent the afternoon "friending" people !

Actually, I'm just trying out the function "Blog" to see where this goes !

I really don't like Facebook - and the comment by Zuker-whatever-his-name-is - which can be found here ( 7 min audio plus transcript)really - shows that it's not a totally ridiculous feeling.

 

It's a great idea to include teachers of other languages, but the teachers of other languages I know DON'T Speak English, so how could they join this Ning :-(

Thanks for kicking off the blog here, Elizabeth - what you say about appealing to teachers of other languages is important to us and something we've been discussing. We have to start putting some non-English content on the Ning to deal with this, which you should see soon.
