Hello all,

I'll be training to teach German on the GTP (Graduate Teacher Programme) as of September (in Birmingham) and am looking for an MFL Mentor who'll help me improve my knowledge on all things ICT. I'm especially interested in learning how to integrate blogging, podcasting etc. into the classroom.

Many thanks for reading this.

Hello, everyone!

I teach German for Translators and Interpreters at the University of Malaga. I am also very interested in using social networks in class, that's why I hope to learn a lot on this platform.

Regards,

MJ

Hi everybody !

I teach French as a foreign language in a business school and in an engineering school in France. I am particularly interested in learning languages through social networks since I write my master's degree thesis on this theme and more precisely on 2 social networking sites dedicated to languages : Babbel and Busuu . Are there teachers here who have already used these sites with their students? If there is a mentor who did, I would love to work with him/her!

Best,

Laure

I'm glad I joined this web community and I hope I'll find the help I need to develop as a teacher.

Hi Tanya! How lucky you are... I'm still waiting for one!!

BTW... I read in Facebook that only Europeans can be participants, is this right? Cause if this is the case... then, I'll have to be out of this project as I'm from South America. Hope I misunderstood what I read! Smiles from Argentina, Maria :)

Please, feel free (again) to contact me so I can expand a little bit more about the project. Maybe we can do sthg together if you like! Hot Smiles from Summer Argentina, Maria :)

Thank you, Maria. It's a great idea to keep in touch with a whole class via internet and skype. I saw the pictures and I found them touching. I have already invited our colleague Mirela from Romania to join us here in aPLaNet and I hope she will find it interesting ,too. Keep smiling! :) , Tanya
